A celebratory event was held for Annabelle's 2nd birthday in conjuction with Australia Day. It's hard to think that it has been a whole two years since Annabelle came into this world, like damn, they're growing up at a really fast rate. Even Derrick, who's starting year 9, is taller than I am, someone who's starting uni. But nonetheless nothing can be done except watch them mature and experience the obstacles of life, it's quite thrilling, really, but at the same time it makes you feel hella old.
I'd prefer to keep this post short so I'll just abruptly end it here. I'll post up updates on what has been going on in my uneventful start to the year so far in a few days (next cars and coffee, presumably.) But in the meantime, I hope everyone around is having a great time and is doing extremely swell.
