Exams are finally over and end of semester/mid year break has begun and to say the least it is extremely needed. Recently, I've gotten a job at The Winter Garden, an annual festival that runs for a month. So for now, my only plans for this break is to work and earn as much money as I am physically able to before the event ends. There is an obstacle, however, it is currently 2 weeks into the event, give or take, and my manager/boss still has not been able to get around to distributing everyone's rosters, which is somewhat unprofessional but he seemed like a young person so I guess he has other priorities. Still unprofessional and sucks because I want to work and I need money. I'm just hoping that I'll be able to accumulate enough funds so that I could invest in a new camera as well as car parts ... but I guess it's a work in progress so there's necessarily no rush. There's no real rush since I don't even have my P's haha and yet I'm already thinking about all these things I'm going to be doing to my car. Hopefully sometime in the near future I'll take my car out to some nice, abandoned area and take a couple of pictures there.
An investment in a new camera, on the other hand, is kind of higher on the priority list in essence? The camera I'm still currently using is actually my Dad's and is around 8 year's old, give or take. It still does the job, I guess, but I wouldn't mind upgrading to something slightly better, if not on a new level. I am, however, looking into a camera that has recording capabilities as I'd like to try out the cinematography side behind a camera, because why not and it seems fun as hell to do. But all of this is far from reach due to financial .. struggles so I guess I better figure something out.
Went on a little bit of a tangent but with that I do surely hope everyone has had an amazing start to their breaks, I sure had a blast at Black Party kicking off my break haha. Hope everyone is doing swell.
