July x Updates

\

A fairly lengthy post this time but for good reason; I couldn't select a handful of pictures so I just decided to upload them all, haha.

With the end of my mid year break closing in, I'd say it is safe to say that this break has been somewhat productive. Although my plans of getting both my P's and going out to take photographs of things other than cars weren't achieved, I was still able to find a job that kept me occupied for the most part. Initially, I did apply for a position as a bartender, however, that position was soon outsourced (they hired other professionals) so I ended up filling for people on other jobs. I did get to handle alcohol at one point, any experience is good I guess. The hourly pay rate is, to say the least, still money. It definitely wasn't the greatest, especially for my age, but, given that the Winter Garden is technically an event, staff member's wages are to be based off event standards. It is what it is, and I still made decent money in the end.

On the bright side; I was given the privilege to work with some extremely down to earth and friendly people. To my surprise, I was on the younger spectrum of workers and I was one of like, three asians. There was a myriad of differing nationalities, including people from Brazil, Spain and especially England. Their English accents eventually grew on me and I occasionally found myself attempting to imitate their accent on a regular basis, because why not haha.

Besides that, uni is closing in quicker than ever and as always, I am not prepared whatsoever but hey, that's just life really. I really cannot be bothered to think of anything else to write so, I do really hope everyone has had a great break, and is doing extremely swell.

Peace homies.
